Austin office leasing maintains momentum seeing increase in the first half of 2025
The Austin office market has seen an uptick in leasing activity compared to the prior year, with approximately 1.4 million square feet (msf) leased in Q2 2025. Leasing activity rose approximately 31.0% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year. While leasing within the technology sector has slowed from previous levels, activity has not halted. SonarSource leased 37,454 square feet (sf) this quarter, making it one of the largest deals of the quarter. In addition, Nvidia is active in the market, looking to lease approximately 200,000 sf and is expected to sign Q3 2025.
